Whispering Heat is listed on Handride.com & the detail calls her dark bay or brown (neither parent is gray) but gray would have been my first guess from her picture:

Is she rubicano? Sabino? Something else?

WHISPERING HEAT (DkB/Br M 2004) http://www.pedigreequery.com/whispering+heat

Quite interesting case but, what can I say in the absence
of an uninterrupted gray strain on her pedigree?
A very “roaned” sabino(?) I guess!

Thanks for posting this head-scratching case.

Another vote for VERY obviously rabicano (and likely only rabicano).

Being 7 years old??? that is the slowest greying I've seen

I love her tail...and she's pretty cool looking...Great BASE color...I usually see the Chestnuts...
