Pletcher lost the owner of Zenyatta's half brother

Postby bdw0617 » Mon Jan 30, 2012 5:39 pm

I forget the name of the stable.. the stable that bought everything at the sale in sight last year. Apparently him and Pletcher had a falling out. He also owns Royal Delta among others.

I'd have a falling out too if i spent 4 million dollars for horses and not one of them has seen the track in almost 2 years lol

Not her half brother but her nephew--Mr. Besilu

Mr. Besilu is the son of Balance, Zenyatta's grade 1 winning half sister.

Ben Leon is in no hurry with his horses,, or to spend his money. I have met him once and he seemed like a polite man. He spends money on horses he wants, asks the right questions and has the right attitude of he is trying to do right by his horses.

To my knowledge, to date, he has made no significant contribution to Thoroughbred Racing. Just purchasing bloodstock in vast quantities and amounts doesn't get an Eclipse award nomination; it must be earned in competition.
