i mean, how many times is baffert going to run this horse over 7F for them to figure out that he does not want to run that far? why are they throwing away money like this? it's clear as day that the horse does not like going long at all. he is a sprinter. he's a grade 1 claibur sprinter. but a sprinter. and every time he does good in a sprint instead of pointing him to a sprint they use it as an excuse to re stretch him back out. good god baffert come on man let the horse do what he wants to do.
have no idea why the horse went off at 3/5 today. got beat on the square by a horse that broke his maiden at oaklawn in a pretty crappy race and drill wanted no part of him in the stretch. drill was looking for a place to lay down by that point
i really wish they will keep this horse at a 6F no more than 7F
they will run him next in the derby trail watch and he will go off at 3 to 1 and blow the doors off the field and everyone will say he's back but he never went anywhere in the first place
drill...
