Has she ever run over a mile and sixteenth?
She looked pretty handy winning the stakes race at Belmont today.

nope. I don't really get the sense that this is going to be an issue for her though, just none of her races have gone that far. in the BC fillies juve they could have ran around churhill again and they weren't going to pass her

Hi Cree,
Awesome Feather won two races in her career going 1 1/8th miles, the Gr I Gazelle at Aqueduct, and the non-graded $300,000 Florida Sunshine Millions Distaff at Gulfstream Park. TJ

I like her a lot but she's training up tot he ladies classic. I don't know how i feel about this.

As good as she is, it's odd beucse it's still hard to get a read on how good she is. is she better than Royal Delta? is she better than questing?

is she going to go off fav? this is going to be a very interesting race

Hi bdw,
No doubt she ran a big race the other day and has been able to win off longer layoffs then she will attempt in the BC. Her trainer is pretty good at having her ready when she needs to be. Her form over her last four races shows she won a GR I off a 7 week layoff....this layoff will be slightly over 6 weeks. You also have to remember she is making a comeback off a bowed tendon and so far so good...so her BC performance may rely on her soundness as well. She did receive a huge 108 beyer for this race, but I don't see where she's beaten anything that outstanding...Questing recieved a 106 beyer winning the GR I Alabama in style. This is a very interesting division...currently there are two undefeated fillys in the division...Awesome Feather and My Miss Aurelia. Although Questing has been unbeaten on the dirt since her defeat, by Miss Aurelia in the BC Juvenile last year. Royal Delta has been disappointing lately and maybe the rigors of racing are getting to her...although Billy Mott know's how to put them back together again for the big dance. Don't forget It's Tricky who went to her nose coming out of the gate last time....this will be a great race to watch if they all make it to the BC Ladies Classic. TJ

I never thought Royal delta was as good as some made her out to be, her competition has flattered her ability. I think the real question is, is she better than Questing or MMA going 9F.

I don't think 9F is her best trip. That's right up Questing's Alley however. and we really don't know if MMA has just peaked at an early age or if she has matured. it's a tough race.

In a race like this I usually tend to go with the home track horse as they have an advantage, but there really isn't one

Hi bdw,
It will not only be a tough race, but a real god one. Looking forward to later today at Parx because some of the questions about this division may well be answered in the Cotillion. I don't think MMA can handle the new and improved Questing although Questing must give MMA 7 lbs. today. She has to give 10 lbs to a horse I always liked too, Moment in Dixie. Of course MID hasn't done much and she is lightly raced...but today is her chance to shine (if she ever will) while getting 10 lbs from Questing. TJ
