at thsi point as far as a pure showdown, it's shaping up to be better than the males.


Midnight Lucky and Unlimited Budget are both very, very legit.


This brings up an interesting and unique situation. I think both are good enough to run with the boys and beat all of them exepct V man down in Tampa Bay.

So, how does that work? you can't just skip all the preps and go to the derby now they have to run in a derby prep race.


I think Repole is going to be very tempted to run unlimited budget against the boys.. he's a spotlight guy and it's his best shot and she's good enough.

If they were considering running either of these fillies against the boys....they would have pointed to one of the Derby qualifying races long before now. They chose to point for Oaks qualifying races....so that's where you will see them turn up. TJ
