Christy Hatley jumped right in to identify A.P. Indy and Summer Squall (both out of Weekend Surprise) as the half brothers who were both winners of American Triple Crown races, both ridglings, and both successful sires. Who will be the first to complete this week's challenge? http://www.americanclassicpedigrees.com/hoofprints

Christy struck again this week, identifying Canadian Fred Herbert (who rode Donau in 1910) as the first jockey born outside the United States to win the Kentucky Derby. This week's focus is on a famous broodmare---who can guess her identity first? http://www.americanclassicpedigrees.com/hoofprints

Krista correctly identified the great producer Fall Aspen as last week's mystery horse. This week's question concerns another mare who did her best work in the paddocks rather than on the track. Good luck! http://www.americanclassicpedigrees.com/hoofprints

We had a stumper the week before last with Be Like Mom, dam of three-time steeplechase champion Oedpius and two-time American champion filly But Why Not. Then last week, Kim stepped up to the plate and knocked out a home run, correctly identifying Alysheba, Forego, John Henry, Cigar, and Point Given as the American Horse of the Year honorees to reside at the Kentucky Horse Park's Hall of Champions. Who will be first to guess the identity of this week's mystery horse? http://www.americanclassicpedigrees.com/hoofprints

Kevin Horgan correctly identified the famous "lefty" of last week's question as Roberto. This week's question swings back to this side of the pond---enjoy! http://www.americanclassicpedigrees.com/hoofprints

Joanna correctly identified Alsab as the $700 yearling who set two world speed records for juveniles. Who's game for this week's question? http://www.americanclassicpedigrees.com/hoofprints

As Julia correctly stated, it was George Smith's 1916 Kentucky Derby win that was the first to be accorded front-page coverage in the Louisville Courier-Journal. A new trivia question has been posed for this week's challenge-seekers. http://www.americanclassicpedigrees.com/hoofprints

Christy Hatley did a fantastic job with last week's trivia question, sleuthing out not one but two American fillies who won four "Oaks" races but left no offspring. For the record, they were Rose of Sharon and Dark Mirage. It's back to the boys for this week's question; let's see who can come up with the answer first! http://www.americanclassicpedigrees.com/hoofprints

Barbara correctly pegged Beau Pere as last week's mystery horse. Let's see who's got it for this week! http://www.americanclassicpedigrees.com/hoofprints

Julia correctly identified Needles as the equine Chamber of Commerce member. Let's see who can come up with the mystery horse for this week! http://www.americanclassicpedigrees.com/hoofprints
