CLAUDIUS to stay in New Mexico

CLAUDIUS, the 2004 National Leading Second Crop Sire by Sire Production Index is being relocated to Windsor Farm's, Lovington, New Mexico for the 2006 Breeeding Season.

Claudius, a multiple Graded Stakes performing son of Leading Sire, Majestic. out of the phenominal female family of Classy Ellie by Leading Sire Irish River, set a a new stakes record in the Grade 3 Lamplighter Handicap going a mile and a sixteenth in an astoinishing 1:41.3. In his first crop of racing age he sired mutiple stakes winner, HI TECK MAN, winner of the 2004 WinStar Derby, defeating 5 known Graded Stakes Winners.

His 2006 Fee is to be announced at a later date...yet, New Mexico Breeders can be assured his fee will be attractive to quality mares and Windsor Farm's is committed to putting customer service as its principle feature in all its business endeavors.

DKB, that is really great news for breeders in New Mexico (myself included!) I'm very pleased to hear Claudius will remain in the state. He's an excellent option for NM breeders who are participating in the NM bred incentive program. I was concerned we were going to lose him to Texas or another state for 2006.
