stallion with 2 winners?
My guess is probably not this year but could happen.
Every mighty oak was once an acorn that stood its ground.
Careful with the Giant's Causeway love... you'll bring out those detractors who have already proclaimed him to be a "flop"...
Another, who until yesterday, had two entered was Artax.
Isn't it amazing what this industry does... every living sire listed with 2 in the BC (with the exception of A.P. Indy) will see significant stud fee increases. All will almost assuredly also see their progeny's sales figures increase... yet, I heard once again this past week it said of a yearling... "its a shame it is an Artax". What does he have to do to get some respect? His first KY crop is only 3 this year (maybe only 2, I lose track)... he has had a good year... he has had fairly big sale horses... he had a couple good enough to consider the BC (although they were longshots at best... but how many "better considered" stallions didn't even have that?).
Heck, I didn't even really like the horse, until I saw him and I certainly don't think his owner has helped his cause very much... but, based purely on observation, and the limited amount of information at our disposal, I have to ask, "how on earth can there be a negative perception?"
