He was despatched to England in around 1704 by Sir Robert Sutton, ambassador in Constantinople from 1702 to 1717, who was the great nephew of Robert Sutton, 1st Baron Lexington. Lord Lexington's daughter Bridget was the mother of Robert Darcy, 3rd Earl of Holderness, of Hornby Castle, Yorkshire, who acquired the stallion.
Sire of Hartley's Blind Horse, a successful stallion, sire of 1) the also successful stallions [Hutton's] Spot and [Crofts's] Forester, 2) Mother Neasham, winner of 18 of 22 career starts, and 3) Sachrissa, dam of the good class racehorse and highly successful sire Babraham, and grandam of Joseph Andrews (1749 King's Plates York and Lincoln);
and Old Royal, sire of top class racemare Bald Charlotte (1726 King's Plate [mares] Hambleton; 1727 King's Plate [mares] Newmarket and King's Plate Winchester, and 8th dam of the great American racehorse Boston, sire of Lexington, one of the greatest sires in American history
