She proliferates the maternal line of Family 8 from single parent-daughter offspring by being dam of an unnamed mare by Hutton's Royal Colt through which branches 8-a, 8-e and 8-j descend; and of another unnamed mare by Hutton's Grey Barb, through which all other branches of Family 8 descend
She is 5th dam of Bay Ranger's dam (ancestress of the great racemare stayer Beeswing - winner of 51 of her 64 starts, including the 1842 Ascot Gold Cup, 1837, 1840, 1841 and 1842 Doncaster Cup and the Newcastle Cup six times, and dam of Nunnykirk (1849 Two Thousand Guineas Stakes)
and Newminster (1851 St Leger and Champion Sire 1859 and 1863); and 6th dam of Marske (Champion Sire 1775 and 1776 and sire of the great racehorse and sire Eclipse, through which the Darley Arabian sire line extends to the present day in over 95% of thoroughbreds)
