3rd dam of the great Monsieur Tonson, which, after losing his first start, was undefeated for the remainder of his career, winning his other 11 races; Monsieur Tonson enjoyed a good measure of success as a stallion, both of sons and daughters, including being Leading Sire in America in 1834
