Jingling and the other 35 Keene yearlings which had been sold to Mr Butler were stabled a half-mile away from the Kingston Stud barn which caught fire and killed her dam and half-sister in April 1913. Jingling was erroneously reported by DRF to have died May 22, 1915 when lighting struck the Butler stable at Belmont Park.
