Family 76 survived until the 1820s, producing a number of good stallions including a) Greyhound, the sire of 1) Sampson (1727 King's Plates Guildford, Lewes, Lincoln, Newmarket, 1728 King's Plate Newmarket); 2) [Halifax] Goliah (1728 King's Plate Lewes); 3) Legacy (1736 King's Plate Newmarket [mares], King's Plate Edinburgh); 4) Sister to Guy (grandam of [Croft's] Spinster (1740 King's Plate [mares] Hambleton, 1741 King's Plate Newmarket) and of [Morton's] Traveller (very successful sire in America);
b) the useful American stallions Ashe's Roebuck; c) Hoppers Pacolet; and d) top 1760s American racer True Briton;
