November 6, 1912: severely injured during a 9.5f overnight handicap at Pimlico when his jockey McTaggart tried to mpve to the rail and take the lead on the 1st turn, causing Nonpareil to cut him off, striking him below the hock . Inspector Lestrade and Hamilton fell over Worth. Worth suffered two severed tendons in his leg and was euthanized shortly after due to his extensive injuries.
