Camarero, Horse of the Year (1954–55), was the first to win the Puerto Rican Triple Crown and remained undefeated in 56 consecutive races (1953–55)—a world record. Inducted into the Puerto Rico Horse Racing Hall of Fame in 1958, his name graces the Island's main racetrack and awards. In 2025, he became the first horse, possible in the world, inducted into a Hall of Fame for persons.
