Leedes Arabian is not the same horse as the Northumberland Brown Arabian, who was also referred to as "Leedes Arabian" sometimes.
This horse was also referred to as a barb, and was given to Edward Leedes' father by King William III. He stood at the Leedes North Milford stud in Yorkshire.
