Owned by Robert Burdett (1670-1716), whose family lived near Calke Abbey in Derbyshire, the seat of the Harpurs. Burdett bred the only recorded progeny of Burdett's Arabian, Young Child Mare, dam of several mares which bred on, most notably Sister to Kitty Burdett, through which Family 32 descended
