2nd: Fort Hamilton H. (Gravesend) After finishing 4th in the roughly-contested American Derby, Chorister was laid up with a possibly-bowed tendon. Entered stud in 1894 at Keene's Castleton Stud, KY. Starting in 1900 stood at various farms in Virginia, including the Retirement Stud and the Antrim Stock Farm.
