Probably one of the 'Cape Mares', brought from the Cape of Good Hope to New South Wales on the ship Brittannia in 1795. Bred to Rockingham ~1790, the first TB stallion imported to NSW in 1799, to produce the Rockingham Mare, foundress of the oldest Australian female line, Family Fifteen.
