7th dam of Page's Tippoo Saib, the sire of Mary Grey, dam of 1) the highly successful stallion [Jackson's] Pacolet, many of whose daughters bred on. [Jackson's] Pacolet's best son was the great Monsieur Tonson, which, after losing his first start, was undefeated for the remainder of his career, winning his other 11 races; Monsieur Tonson enjoyed a good measure of success as a stallion, both of sons and daughters, including being Leading Sire in America in 1834; and of 2) Wilkes' Wonder, sire of Bet Bosley, the 5th dam of a) Mollie McCarty (1876 California Derby); b) Belle (1878 Alabama Stakes);
c) Lord Murphy (1879 Kentucky Derby); and 9th dam of Lady Lightfoot, one of the greatest racemares of the 19th century, the winner of between 30 and 40 races [records are incomplete] and the dam of the exceptional racemare Black Maria
