| Owner: Mr. J. S. Rarey Breeder: Lord Dorchester
It wasn't until Mr. John Rarey who had gained notoriety as a "horse whisperer" traveled to England to offer demonstrations to the royal court that Cruiser was freed from his stone prison. Rarey bought Cruiser and the two traveled the world giving exhibitions. They later returned to Mr. Rarey home state of Ohio and became a popular stallion where visitors would shower him with attention that in his young days would have been impossible.
