Straight Story--dark bay or black?

I saw a small photo of this guy and he looked black. No lightness on his muzzle or brownish tints. I only wish I saw a bigger photo of him.

What was he registered as? The colors listed on here are often wrong.

Most blacks are listed as dborbr. Doesn't mean anything. He's definitely black.

Definitely black.
