Mares Wanted!

Postby Sangue Vecchio » Fri Feb 09, 2007 7:17 am

Since the Forli mare request went so well, I thought I'd try again. I am in need of mares by the following:

Lyphard
Nijinsky
Vice Regent
Riverman
Roberto
Sadlers Wells
Elocutionist

I would prefer direct daughters, but I would accept mares by sons of Vice Regent. Age does not worry me, so let's see what's out there?

2 cheap/free TB mares

Postby olympicprincess » Thu Feb 22, 2007 8:39 am

I was forwarded this msg yesterday, though I have no further info on them and these probably aren't what you're looking for:

"...a man stopped at the rescue and he has 2 TB mares he will sell really cheap. One is 12 and one is 7, I think. One is a dapple grey and the other is brown I think. He is a dealer and thinks he is a breeder, and we have asked him to let the rescue know before he takes any horses to Sugar Creek. At first he wanted 300.00 each, but yesterday he said he just wants them out and will deal. I will guarantee they will be skinny, but alive. If you know of anyone looking for a brood mare ( he said the one has excellent breeding ) please pass this on.
The only good thing I can say about this man is he will tell us before he takes the horse to Sugar Creek. In general, if you can see weight on the horse, he does get fairly nice horses as he thinks he is a breeder. ...He told me he is not going to breed his stud to TB's anymore and go strickly with QH mares so he wants these mares gone.
His number is 330-618-6944 and his name is Joe. He is in Medina, Ohio. "

OK, this mare has almost everything you're looking for in one pedigree.
Forli 5x5, Grandaughter of Sadlers Wells, Riverman in 3rd generation and Nijinsky in the 4th generation, no Roberto but she does have Sir Gaylord. 2001 model for sale on equine.com PA $1,500.00
