I cant take the smile off my face but july 8th @ Emerald downs my little 3 year old colt broke his maiden at 5 and 1/2 furlongs in 101.3 which was the third fastest time there ever.. And it looks like he should do better next outing..

Fathoms Revenge A.K.A Billy will be making his third start sunday @ Emerald downs.. Was hoping to debut another filly in a MSW race but as usually it didnt fill... We will be making a mercy claim sunday to retire 1 of our old horses that is about 200 pounds under weight.

Good luck with the race! and don't you just wish we had sh#*t loads of money to claim some of these horses that should of long been given a good retirement. Wake At Noon worked the other day at Fort Erie. Can you believe it? The horse has made well over 1.5 Million for Bruno Shikendenze (spelling?) but he will squeeze every last dime out of the horse just to bleed him for another paycheck. SICK!!!
P.S If i ever meet him in a dark alley with a louisville slugger. Straight for both knees and ankles!!! Oops did I say that out loud?

jenny u think like my wife.. Last time they ran our colt he was so skinny my wife did not even recognise him and everytime she walked by his new trainer I felt like an offensive lineman keeping her from giving him the louisville slugger treatment.. When your homebreds get claimed and the new owners just enter, enter, enter, rather than do what is right for the horse it is very hard to watch and keep your mouth shut.. We have allready been told we will be shaking for him so we hope it is our lucky day..

Well good luck with the shake. and if you don't get him then hopefully the new owner will treat him better. You could always claim him from that guy! Are you claiming him to retire him?

Ys jenny, we are claiming to retire.. He is an awesome horse at the farm and might get a shot to try running barrels.. He is very athletic and quick and use to have a quarter horse build.. 6 months here with R & R and he will be back to normal..

wow , what a great day.. Our claim came back fine and we will be hauling him home in 3 or 4 days, and the big grey colt ran a very good race.. Looks like we are going to try a stakes race next.
