Best Looking Silks in Racing?
I gotta go with Tabor... that orange on the blue just does it for me.
Sorry but I am voting for myself on this one...royal blue with orange diamond on the sleeves with HR on the back in orange...looks great at Remington Park and Charles Town...

ROKE! Did you just hack Michael's account?

Agreed, but then I think any use of the colours on something other than a flag are offensive. All those people up in arms about Janet Jackson flashing her tits at the Super Bowl, I was more pissed off about Kid Rock cutting a hole in a flag and wearing it like a poncho.

I wish I remembered one of his horses so I could recall it better. Anyways, I always think they're nice looking.
Now I found it. It's Live Life's silks. Owner Shawn Dugan.

Are you people colorblind? The classiest silks of all time had dark gray and yellow braids!
Who's the guy that has the Chicago Cubs "C" on his silks? I guess the guy is used to losing. LMAO!

The Calumet silks are still around - TNT Stud out of South America bought them at auction for a small amount, and you see them occasionally in California racing.
As for the best silks, I'm partial to my own.
Official description is "Infantry blue, gold cross sashes and three gold bands, each sleeve, gold cap." The infantry blue is for the 16 years (and counting) I've been an infantry officer, the gold sashes represent the crossed rifles of the infantry (though I opted out of using them, as I didn't want my horses to look like an NRA advertisement) and the gold bands are for my three kids.
Had a heck of a time getting them to call it "Infantry blue." On debut, it was listed at powder blue. I called up the racing secretary make a correction, and was told, "I don't see where it makes that big a deal to you." I told them if they'd gone through what I had to earn those colors, they would understand how much it meant.

For me, the most important aspect of silks is how easily you can see them on the backstretch in a crowd. Normally, I don't care for the esthetic value of Harry Aleo's orange silks, but you can really see that horrible orange from anywhere.
I think that Lael Farms (the Jacksons, Barbaro) have the best silks I've ever seen for beautiful colors and visibility. The green sleeves help you see them anywhere, and the blue with crossed sashes look timeless. I notice them in every race now.
