Dixie Chatter had the same problem Cry and Catch Me had. They both spiked a fever, and they were both on the same plane from California.

Attila's Storm has filling in an ankle. Schosberg says it's "no big deal".

Here's a question:

There's a possibility of slop and a yielding turf for BC Day. If you've flown 3,000 miles to run in the BC, but you have a feeling that your horse won't like the slop or the boggy turf, would you scratch?

Common sense says, "YES!," but consider that you've already gone through the expense of shipping and the BC comes only once a year (it's not like any stake where you can sit it out and wait for the next one). It's a tough decision, wouldn't you say?

I think it's a bit easier decicion for a grass horse as the odds of getting hurt on a soft turf course is less than on a really bad main track.
