As the subject says, does anyone have an idea?

Trying to figure out why my filly has a firmer stool in the morning and then very loose by day.

This will sound absolutely bonkers but one of our horses decided to eat carrots WHILE STILL IN THE BAG.... I frantically called my vet and he advised I would be on poop patrol for the next 24 to 48 hours..... well exactly 28 hours into it out came the bag.
trying to come up with something brillant..... this may take a while. :)
