Anyone know when the catalogs are being mailed? There is no substitute to reading the actual book. Online is just a different perspective. Thanks.

They're supposed to be mailed Dec. 17th.

Yup the 17th, can't wait :) I've tried numerous times to download the catalogue but my computer and the Keeneland site are presently not on good terms

I agree regarding reading hard copy vs reading on line. Rather have the books..............

For one thing, how can you make notes on line? I can't walk around the sales with my laptop, but I can with a catalog. No, give me the books anytime.

Sure you can! It may be a tad awkward and others may gawk or make fun but you can do it. Are you going to the sale winds?

Not sure yet. Want to, had plans for the Timonium Sale earlier this month but something got in the way. If not going for a client, no pressing reason to go other than to socialize/network, except to gather more information.

My books arrived last night, so if anyone else hasn't received theirs yet, they're on their way. As always, lots of interesting reading. :)

If I go, it will be for the last two days. Right now, I am leaning on not going.

I'm going to pass this time. I don't know about anyone else but I found the offerings to be pretty disappointing this time. The later books are extremely weak (and I'm selling in them), but there is very little to catch the eye. Did anyone see anything in books 3 or 4 at all?

I think there are several quality horses being offerred in books three and four. Not everything can be by or in foal to super sires.
