This is good news for Midatlantic breeders

I really like His Majesty line and this guy's Avg earnings index exceeds the comparable. Fee dropped to $4K!
He's still 'young' and can possibly get a big horse as well.
Wish I had a mare to breed to him....

I really loved this guy when I saw him at Three Chimneys a couple years ago. It's hard to believe he won't be a good match for some Midlantic ladies out there. I knew he wasn't getting much respect among the studs in KY. His price is now about what it should have been, and regional is best chance for success.

She is Rocquette -- http://www.pedigreequery.com/rocquette
On her mama's side, she is actually closer related to Romance Is Diane & Badge of Silver than Nobiz Like Shobiz, giving some other interesting breeding possibilities.
She is technically for sale, so we factor that in, too.
We visited Albert yesterday & he's a really good physical match for her, so he's definitely high on the short list.
I love Rocquette with Albert the Great. Quality line-breeding, could make a fine breed-to-race matchup. In my opinion there are no commercially viable $4000 studs. If that's the price range, you need to plan to race the progeny in a beneficial state-bred program, and make sure the mare is a worthy suitor.
