First Foal of the Year

Postby madelyn » Fri Jan 18, 2008 4:53 am

Our first filly of the year, by Ecton Park out of Smoldering (KEENOV $1500), was born this morning at 3:18am at Atalanta Acres in Indiana! A chestnut filly with a blaze and a sock, mare and foal are reported as doing well.

Sleep is for babies... that's what coffee's for!

Congrats, Madelyn... she's a cutie! (I'm in love with her blaze!)

Is this the first PQ foal of 2008?

Roguelet sent me a GREAT picture. Unfortunately, earlier today I tried to open a legislative file related to the KY Breeder's Incentive fund from the ky.gov site, and it tried to install Office 2000 Premium and just flat out hosed my operating system. I only had a couple of hours to work on the repair and as yet I cannot "save" a picture from an email file. Bill Gates would say, if this happened to him while demonstrating a Windows product, that he was just pushing the technology envelope too hard (I saw that happen, in person, once when he was speaking/showing and the system just crashed  )

Madelyn, that's funny about Bill Gates. Maybe Roguelet can post it on here for all of us to see.

YEAH!!! :)
Any word on how she looks physically? I remember you mentioning purchasing the mare. I know someone has already asked but is this the first PQ baby?

Congrats to you.

In the pic she is a lovely chestnut filly with just a huge backwards question mark blaze and a sock.
