Just wondering ... at times I see duplicates of Crimson Saint within 5 generations but rarely have I come across any inbreeding to Terlingua within 5. For example ; I was messing around this week and came across a hypomating that would give a 2 x 4 inbreeding to Terlingua, via Storm Cat & Secretariat, using one of my mares along with a 2 x 5 to Mr. P.
Is there some reason why it would be less desirable to have Terlingua duplicated than Crimson Saint ?

Terlingua & Crimson Saint ...
Bring 'em back tired ; but bring 'em back sound !
I think it's a matter of convenience and opportunity.
Stallions carrying Crimson Saint are Encino, Pancho Villa, Royal Academy, Storm Cat, Pioneering, Wheaton, Jeune Homme, Desert Warrior, etc.
So, inbreeding to her is quite easy. But to inbreed to Terlingua, you're limited to Storm Cat, Pioneering, and Wheaton or a mare tail-female to her.
I think the other big thing is inbreeding to her through her sons would give closer inbreeding than most people are comfortable doing.
I think you'll start seeing more Terlingua inbreeding in the coming years, especially with her being pushed back farther in a pedigree. For what it's worth, I've noticed that Crimson Saint inbreeding seems to be getting a lot of good runners recently.
