Hurray for Hop to It! Now Officially Named!

My eleven year old Bien Bien mare named Hop to It is in New York. She delivered a beautiful BIG chestnut colt by Bowman's Band on the evening of April 4th :D Both are doing well. Here are the photos sent to me today. He's shown in the barn, because there is lots of snow outdoors this week at the farm. This is her fifth living colt, with two winners from two to race, and 2yo and yearling sons growing up. He is the second chestnut and first NY-bred. She'll be bred back to the NY stallion Defer.

Such a relief after we lost our first colt in February. 8) Reigning Glory is due this week also, in Oklahoma.

What a Gorgeous boy! :D I have to agree he does have that regal look to him. Love his big blaze too.

Congrats! He looks huge :) He reminds me of one of the Theatrical colts I have at the barn.

Baby has an official name now! He is MARCH BEAT. Derived from his dad BOWMAN'S BAND, and his mom HOP TO IT.

Congrats Henthorn...you got your wish with the bling!...great face....love those baby eyes...it must be so nice to have so few worries in the world..when do I eat? and when do I sleep? and when do I get out of this stall and play?
