Do you know where this guy lives? Indian Ridge is figuring into some sport horse pedigrees. If he's anywhere near me I might contact him.

UPDATE: FYI - I was just made aware of another offspring accomplishment for the Texas based stallion Ben's Ridge, by Indian Ridge:

Austin Ridge, Lakesoftheclouds take trials for Manor Downs Futurity

4/6/2008

The first 2-year-old races of the year in Texas were held at Manor Downs near Austin on April 6 with a pair of trials for the $50,000 Manor Downs Futurity. In the first heat, Austin Ridge, a Ben’s Ridge (GB) colt running for breeder, owner and trainer Ronald Kotara, prevailed by a half-length under Patrick Boxie. The Texas-bred clocked 4 ½ furlongs in :54.13. Also qualifying from the first trial were Expect Smoke (by Valid Expectations), Katesexpectations (Littleexpectations), Jad a Cork (Jadacus) and Cashinmywranglers (Proud Halo).

In the second trial, Lakesoftheclouds closed well to get up at the wire for owner/trainer Clifford Dodson. The Kentucky-bred daughter of Greenwood Lake got the distance in :54.95. The other qualifiers include Powerbeinz (Power Storm), Star Diplomat (Cuvee), Promising Prince (Boone’s Mill) and Black Steel (Flange). The 10 qualifiers will meet in the final on April 20. Accredited Texas-breds will compete for an additional $3,500 in purse money.

Note to Toadie - Contact Ron Kotara at Manor Downs on April 20th via the 'stable gate' there. I think Ben's Ridge is somewhere in NE Texas near Athens but am not sure.
