Dubai Millennium 3yos. - KY Derby?

Postby Heidilady » Wed Jan 19, 2005 6:51 pm

Is there a snowball's chance that any of his get will go on the TC trail at all? At least make a run at the KY Derby? They're 3yos now and hey I know it's wishful thinking but I'd like to see them in the states prominently.

I know all the world's racing isn't in America. I can appreciate that. Horses fly here for the WTC. The Sheik has horses come for the Derby from time to time. I'm hoping we'll get to see DW offspring here because watching on simulcast from another country just isn't the same.

I feel with him kind of like I did with Sunday Silence where it's just out of reach. That's the sensation somehow. It's not the kind of feeling you get with Sadler's Wells, say, because I don't really feel deprived. I go 'oh a fantastic British stallion.' I have to say I actually did get that sensation with Sunline when she was racing. I realize this is a bit muddled. I'd be glad to explain or revise but I just wanted to kind go bleeeeh and get it out.

one of his three year olds, dubawi, is rated in the top 50. three for three so far, but breeding suggests more turf racing ahead. i really havn't seen a lot of successful seeking the gold sires out there. i wonder why?
