shortening the mane
My new stallion's mane is a little longer than I'd like it to be and would like to shorten it like the TBs. What is considered the normal length and how do I go about doing it??

You can achieve the look of a pulled mane with a razor comb. 2" along with a bridle path the length of the horse's ear is normal for Western horses. English horses have a 1" bridle path and a mane pulled to 4". Also, English horses should have the mane trained to lay on the right side of the neck.
