Arlington Million this weekend?

Postby jellac » Thu Aug 07, 2008 9:00 am

What are your thoughts on this weekend's ARLINGTON MILLION?

I'm liking ARCHIPINKO if there's some serious pace in this race.....and their ought to be with EINSTEIN and others present to press the lead.....and still have gas in the tank??

Any comments on Spirit One??????

Hi Jellac

I like Archipenko too, but I think I will play Einstein (I feel this is his best distance and he should take to the surface). Sudan also looks very interesting in this spot. I would love to see Helen Pitts get the win.

I've posted the entire Arlington race card for free on my web site

http://www.members.shaw.ca/thematchmaker

All the most updated GSV numbers are there so have fun checking out the numbers and how they play on Saturday.

In addition, in the 5th race is Greer Lynn, Speightstown-Roll Over Baby

When I did a broodmare analysis on Roll Over Baby, my top pick was Gone West....now Speightstown was not a gleam in his mother's eye yet and the mare has been a good producer and he is a son of Gone West. Lots of pedigree strength for speed in the mare and stallion so I would not be surprised with a win or close placing....in fact this filly could be special.

You should note that the filly does have a very obscure but productive bottom line so it will not have a very high GSV score.

Thanks Bill and all for your thoughts on the Million. Any thoughts on the Secretariat from you guys is most welcome.

I am having a sale starting the middle of this month on my Professional GSV program at $200, down from its price of $300. If you order it from my retainer page, just click on the $200 button to get the program at 1/3 off its regular price.

Hi George, I wanted to try this out, but clicking on the Arlington Race Card for 8/09 gives me Northland Park for August 8th. :(

When I right-click on that link, the name of the file is NPX080808.xls

Hope you see this before Sat morning. :)

Whoops!

Deepest apologies.....wish I had come back here so that I didn't make a fool of myself by having the wrong link.

Sorry

George

The link is fixed now so you can see what the race card looks like and how it did. Yikes.....it teaches me for staying up late.
