I am deeply saddened to learn of Larrygene's sudden passing.

I always enjoyed reading his posts. He was such a wealth of information, and so generous about sharing his experience. Larrygene, you will truly be missed.

I was ill for a while and seemed to be in danger of losing my summer position, so I had to recover and then really buckle down at work, and haven't been able to access this board for a very long time. So now belatedly I have discovered this sad news of the passing of Larrygene. I always loved his enthusiasm about his stallions Mustang Jock and Counter Punch. I will miss him.

I'm so sorry, Mrs. Larrygene, for your loss and I apologize for the tardiness of my condolences, but they are no less heartfelt for all that. I thank you for communicating to us that Larrygene felt no pain, surely if anyone deserved a peaceful and painless passing, it was Larrygene.

Just got back to the forum and can't believe what I have just read. Larrygene was a very good man and passionate about his horses. He made a special trip to Louisiana to purchase a weanling from me which was Counter Punches first baby to hit the ground. He really was a classy guy and will be sadly missed. Hopefully Miss Counter Top will make you proud as you watch her from upstairs in the Grand Stands!!

My late heartfelt condolenses to Mrs Larrygene and I appologize for being so late. I sent him a pm a few weeks ago not knowing that he had passed and now I feel terrible.

RIP Larrygene
