Lost a mare and foal :(
Sadly on January 25th my mare had a severe dystocia and we lost the foal
It was an awful experience. After heroic efforts by our vet my mare lost her battle and died 18 hours later
She was never able to rise after the foaling. It was definately the longest 24 hours of my life.
RIP Tearfull Moment and filly, I'll miss you

I am so sorry for your tragedy, been there and done that, it's absolutely horrible. Take care of yourself, try to get some rest - a good glass of wine helps immensely.
