Yeah I can see your point about wanting a palomino guarantee. I have been there too and once all the shipping is added in, it does get expensive.

$400, that is a great price. Wonder if they would still charge that?

TC, since GG is no longer available to North American breeders, I think the height he throws has become a moot point?

Madelyn - wherever did you get the idea that Guaranteed Gold isnt available to North American breeders this year??? :?

He is alive and well and is being booked now for this year and next. he leaves at the END of breeding season 2010 so still lots of time left to breed to him ... ;) .. and he is VERY much still covering outside mares live cover and shipped semen ... :)

So - if he would be a consideration for your mare still for 2009, please let me know

Sorry TC, from your posts about his departure I got the impression he was only fulfilling existing breeding obligations.

Oh gosh no - it looks like he is going to be very very busy this year and next with a lot of new mares coming in to breed! :)

I have one breeder sending me 5 this year and 6 or possibly 9 for next year as he wants a bunch of GG babies before he leaves so I guess we need to build that 2nd story on the barn  and/or put them up in the farm up the road that will house my visiting mares that I dont have room for here ... and very fortunately, they have about 25-30 empty stalls so I am pretty sure we will be well covered with them as well ...

So - let me know if can assist at all ... :)

Thanks Madelyn

Well then I might try to go ahead and bring up the mare and foal before her 30 day heat. We could try breeding her out and then I could take her home. Donna, you would LOVE this mare..

Oh - I'm SURE I would! :) If you have any pictures of her I'm sure we'd all love to see them ... What is her name and when is she due?

Just let me know when, and if you need a room at "the Inn" or we are going to breed and have her turn around and go back home again ...

Thanks Madelyn! :)

Impressive list. Sure are quite a few coloured boys when you look at it in that form.

Are there any chesnut or bay stallions that are standing by the Milke or Glitter Please lines? Anyone know?

Another palomino that should be standing at stud starting next year is

Beyond Blonde (Palomino C. 2006) Guaranteed Gold

at least those are the plans.
He's currently 16.2 and I'm told he's butt high again so he may go to 16.3hh. His dam is 15.3 so GG definitely throws size.
He's located in PA, in training in FL and will be hitting the track for his first race in about a month. :D

Legacy in Gold was listed twice so I fixed it, and added Beyond Blonde
It is actually very interesting to see the stallions listed who have already produced younger stallions.

Actually I just added to the list of Double Dilutes :D

As far as the palomino's etc. technically the list is for breeding stallions, so lets keep it simple until they are standing as stallions  I know you said that Remember My Name was standing at stud this year.

The only one I was uncertain about is Legacy in Gold, sounds familiar, anyone know?

Please just google "Goldmaker" as this thread doesn't need to turn into one breeder bashing another on the internet

He was conceived AI - reported as live cover. There was a group done like that and the JC pulled their registrations.
