Request For Parole

My mare It's All Good delivered a dk bay filly around 8:45 pm on May 1st. She looks like her sire and from talking to the farm all of his babies look the same. So here's a first year sire who is stamping his foals.

To me that's a very good sign. My mare is a chestnut she's by Wheelaway out of Black Bacardi.

This foal is something, she's big for a first foal, she has beautiful shoulders, powerful hind end, is as correct as a foal can be at her age. She was drinking water, eating grain, eating hay and grazing all before she was 2 weeks old. Whatever mom does she does. She runs circles around mom and doesn't waste any action. I'm not proud of her am I?

We're sending her back to Request For Parole, I like the results.

I've never seen him personally, but I thought he had a really great walk when I saw him in the post parade of a televised race once. Your filly sounds beautiful!

I'm not partial or anything but she is. I love that she is so athletic, floats over the ground, changes leads effortlessly. She's also in a growing spurt, she's at least an inch taller at the withers but her hind end is now higher than her withers so she's on her way..........

How do I post pictures ? All I have are a few from when she was a few hours old. We have others but there in the camera and we want to make old fashioned pictures . See if I can keep them on the card and download into computer.

I had an operation last Monday, out of the hospital on Friday. Still get weak easily but as soon as I can I'll try to get them up.

it took me FOREVER to figure it out but its not too bad really. if you put them on photobucket or pm me, I will give you my e-mail, and I will put them up for you, thats how someone helped me on this board and then I figured it out, we want to see that baby

Wow, thank you!!!! For those that don't know that is my Request For Parole filly about 1 to 2 hours after foaling. She is a first foal and as you can see was quite windswept.

I promise to try to get pictures of her after everything straightened out. Her name is Beverly's Spirit. Vicki had 2 step daughters years ago when she was married, the oldest Beverly went to Ocean City, MD for her senior class trip (1988) the hotel had a fire and Beverly and her best friend didn't make it. Beverly loved horses so I promised Vicki we would name the first foal after her.
