Had her 15 day check and she's in foal to Capitano. We're thrilled!!!!

Congrats on the pregnancy.... I do have to raise the question, though...

Why would you breed such a young mare on such a late cover? Has she just come off the track? You're looking at a late May/early June foal for 2010.

Just seems unusual, but congrats indeed for next year!

Because of my health problems last year she was bred late, she foaled on May 1st and we didn't breed on foal heat because of a tear, so we short cycled her on her next heat to breed her. Will probably not breed next year and wait for an earlier breeding the following year.
