Postby Jessi P » Thu Apr 08, 2010 5:47 pm

*****SOLD*****

Summer Legacy is a stakes placed 8 yo gelding measuring 16.1h. He does not crib, weave or stall walk. He is for sale as a sport horse prospect, NOT to be raced. Priced at $2,500.

This EXTREMELY nice horse is sound but is no longer interested in racing. Very well cared for, this smooth bodied chestnut gelding is an excellent sport horse prospect. This is a nice clean horse with exceptional athleticism, ready for a change of career. Smart and eager to please Legacy has the ability to excel in a number of disciplines. He has a beautiful shoulder with a nicely tied in neck, a short coupled strong back, and a powerful engine.

Legacy is a beautiful mover - I will have video posted in his webshots album sometime on April 9th or 10th after I convert it to a different file type. Anyone who can view a .3gp file can request the video clips via email in the meantime from [email protected]

Isn't he something? I REALLY like this horse - he is a special boy and will make someone an excellent partner.

I must admit I can't take any credit for the way he looks - I am listing him for fellow trainer Jay Bernardini, and his horses always look fabulous. Off the top of my head Saucy Lass, Copper Ridge, & Sicilian Boy are some of the horses I have sold for them. Jay's horses are fed well (omolene 400), get all the supplements, and are very well cared for and well muscled - they always look really, really, really good. :)

Legacy is a fabulous mover - the videos that I just got uploaded don't do him justice. He is very well bred, so perhaps his class and breeding are showing through? :)

He is gorgeous! I can't help but click on every horse you list though, because they always look like great quality and well cared for animals.

Thanks for the kind words, Lindsay. :)

This same trainer - Jay Bernardini - has another one coming up for sale after her next race, a 9 yo mare named Simply Fancy. What a racemare she has been, with 11 wins, 10 seconds and 12 thirds, earnings of $178k from 77 starts.

I was just now looking up her pedigree - http://www.pedigreequery.com/simply+fancy

Sport horse breeders will love that she is a Fappiano granddaughter, with In Reality, Buckpasser and Tudor Minstrel in her pedigree. I will be taking pics of her hopefully Thurs or Friday. I believe she will be in the ultra inexpensive category for a quick, uncomplicated sale as a broodmare prospect.
