If he wouldn't have had to come off the rail he wouldve won the Preakness

That Bend just don't quit, no matter the distance. His critics said he was a miler at the most. They probably said that because of his size and dosage index but he actually has some nice stamina infuences in his pedigree, and lots of heart.

Thanks for the charity agreement. That was probably the last time you will see him in a race over a mile and sixteenth. They will drop him back now I'm betting. Watch out for him and hear ye hear ye in the mile races this summer and fall

zito already has the dwyer winner and ice box for the belmont. given the way patti o'furniture :D and super saver ran, the horses that ran on derby day were gassed today. it looks like he made the right decision not running ice box.

jackson bend reminds me of a throwback to older type horses that are very game and try hard. i think he will get better as he gets older like sun king did

they should skip the belmont and point him to the haskell and a 4 yo campaign

he already has the dwyer winner and ice box. does he really need the kitchen sink to win this race.

he would be better served finding a rabbit because ice box will be 20-25 back and needs at least a 47 half mile to close into.

Thing is there's not really much to choose from at a mile and under, and there is some serious money that he'd have a good shot at in say......the Haskell, WV Derby, Pa. Derby, Indiana Derby.

I just have a feeling that they will point for the king bishop. I'll check with crystal at journeyman. She talks to Fred everyday. But the way he ran today by closing in a mile a three sixteenth they might point him to Haskell or travers.
