Flashy 9 yr Old TB Mare- Free to good home

Postby cmccarthy9 » Fri Jul 16, 2010 9:10 am

Trainer at the Track has a 9 yr old mare he wants to retire. She has been good to him and he wants to retire her sound!

Wild Holly, 2001 chestnut mare, 16.0 hands. Holly is very flashy with lots of chrome! She's had a long successfull racing career, but it's time for a new job now. She will make an awesome hunter as she floats when she travels. She is very well bred - by Wild Rush out of an Alysheba mare. She has very minor small osselets. She has no vices or bad habits. Holly is currently located at Philadelphia Park.

Here is the link to her Canter ad when she was for sale in the winter!

PM me for more details!

Glad someone got her. She's my kind of mare, but we're a bit crowded these days.

third dam Impetuous Lady is dam of Regal Gal (black type), Impetuous Gal, etc.

Regal Gal is the dam of Relaxing Rhythm (black type). Relaxing Rhythm is the dam of Spring Waltz (black type), Marimba Rhythm (black type placed, etc.) Plus there is more black in the other sibs.

She wouldn't have been "a number in a broodmare band" with us, either. We can count our broodmares on our hands, with fingers to spare.

Still, good luck with her. I'm glad she found someone who will give her the attention she no doubt deserves.
