ARCH
ARCH is the sire of BLAME, winner of the 2010 Whitney Handicap. Very nice pedigree, particularly the tail-female. My opinion is that no one should be surprised at his stellar racing performance. I'm wondering if we are not seeing a NA emergence of ROBERTO at the same level as Europe. Are there any other ROBERTO line stallions, other than DYNAFORMER, standing in the U. S. or Canada? Is EYE OF THE TIGER one of the few CURE THE BLUES line stallions still standing? This line appears to be disappearing.

If anyone is interested, I would be very interested in a discussion of the future of the ROBERTO line in the U. S. I have always been a great fan of HTR, but early on as he was retired unsound, he got a great deal of bad press. Eighteen starts is alot for a two year old.

What do you think turned things around?

I agree. HTR unsoundness was more perception than reality.

Give the Pope and the King of England a horse and in thirty days, they'll be stealing halters.

Yes. There was a member who absolutely hated HTR. I can't for the life of me remember who that was.
I surfed the archives and came up with this thread that I started on HTR many years back. We talked about the unsoundness.
