Stumbled at the start real bad, but recovered and finished 9th out of 12. She's racing again next week.

Poor girl! Were the track conditions crummy or not too bad?

I saw the race on YouTube.

(again, I wish I could have seen the post parade and paddock walk, any chance of that??? Anyone, pleeez pleez pleeeeezzzz????????????)

The track looked good, but she did stumble out of the gate. However, she made up a good bit of ground!

I saw 2 things that would concern me in her race...her jock hanging her 6 wide around the first turn, and the fact she swapped leads midway in the second turn and took a couple funny strides.
It's obvious she's still super green, but she sure is game!

9th out of 12 participants without saving that much ground. Looks like a late rusher. The horse who arrived second is not necesarily the loser to blame.

Saw her race today at Turfway. Was hoping to see one of these uniquely colored horsesn run a bit, but she beat only one in a Maiden Claimer for a $5,000 tag.
She started out looking ok, but seemed to hit a wall even though it was slow fractions up front.
Maybe she bled or had some other issue?

Here's a link to the race. Looks like she hit a wall for sure... Not my horse anymore, but looks like she needs to be re-evaluated - mile and a 1/16 is long for her breeding.....

No, she wasn't claimed but her present owner has decided to retire her and has her for sale. She just recently got remarried and is putting and adult son through medical school so she is changing her direction. I don't know what her price tag is.... slow race horse should be cheap, right?

Filly has been offered for sale, for $1,500. I don't think I've ever seen a white or colored TB listed so inexpensively.

Makes you wonder why.

And why is her name different?

I spoke with the owner. The filly just got done running 2-3 days ago at Turfway. After a long career of breeding and racing herself, the seller just retired also, so therefore is selling the filly. She has already been sold to OR, not Dalene Knight's though. To a lady that has a son of Airdrie Apachee.
