Colored stallion options....

Postby Derby Lyn » Sun Mar 27, 2011 11:05 am

So I might be getting my Sunny's Halo mare back. What stallions are available for 2011 within driving distance (5 hours) from Detroit MI?

I'm right at the Canadian border, and you know how they are about hoarding all the good ones
I know there are some newer pali's available now. Not sure if I will go tb or wb with her.

I'm glad to be getting this mare back. I placed her in a "good" home and the new owner quit responding to me last year. She only had her a short time and now she is with someone else. But I just found out she was exposed to a paint stallion in the fall :?

I would LOVE to breed her to Bright White...he is my fav along with The White Fox. And unfortunately somehow BW ended up thousands of miles away :) and sadly TWF is no longer with us.

Bright White may be far away, but maybe we can work something out to make it worth your while. Drop me a note :D

I was really hoping for a white tb. I love GG, but I just sold my GG mare I had. I am thinking I might just go with a warmblood instead b/c of the market for tbs these days.

However breeding my CSHA mare to GG is not out of the question. I just want to explore all of my options.

We stand several, but I am sure you know that. Link here to the stallions... http://www.blazingcoloursfarm.com/stallions.html

You might be best to take a drive up here and see them in person. Then you can decide if one might be a good match for her...

BC you aren't really that far from me. Might have to make plans to do that. I would like to see some of Mirabeau's foals, especially since you have some older ones also.

Let me know if we can assist at all Katie ...

If Four Feet of Snow is around next year still, he might be an option for you as well if we decide to breed a few mares to him in his 2 year old year ... :)

Certainly! And if you bring riding gear, I am sure we could stick you on a kid or two of Mirabeau's :D
