Been all over Mucho Macho Man since February, like him better every day, tomorrow we'll see:

1 - Mucho Macho Man
2 - Master of Hounds
3 - Dialed In
4 - Soldat
5 - Shackleford

(Had to list 5 because I can't decide between Soldat and Shackleford for 4th place.)

I hope to have to rent a truck to haul my loot home. Still upset about Ice Box last year.....

All you ever have to do is watch the rides on Street Sense, Mind That Bird and Super Saver to understand why some people believe the jockey really matters in the Kentucky Derby, not too many chances to run mile and a quarter races, just ask Pat Day, he owned Churchill Downs, but he only won one Kentucky Derby in over 20 rides. Calvin is worth a hedge bet in the Kentucky Derby anytime.

He hugged the rail, saved ground and won on 3 horses that were much the best that day, 2 of them favorites. Anybody could have won on those horses. So I guess you could pick a 3 year old out of a field throw Calvin up on Derby day and voila you have a good bet. This horse is terribly overmatched and is taking a crazy amount of money.

You are entitled to your opinion, however, in my opinion Calvin did a lot more than just hug the rail on three horses that all had legitimate chances to win, Street Sense, yes, the other two, no. I do not believe that Mine That Bird or Super Saver won after their Derby victory.

Brilliant Speed, Stay Thirsty, Pants on Fire, Mucho Macho Man, or Animal Kingdom - then I'll get the Oaks-Derby Double. :D
