catalog page of her 1/2 brother is here: http://apps.keeneland.com/sales/sep10/pdfs/1896.pdf

This filly is the first foal of a young mare, and is 3/4 brother is a graded stakes runner of over $700,000. Her dam is still in production and being bred to some very nice horses.

Can you say broodie prospect?

here's a write up from Anne Peters at Three Chimney's on the 3/4 brother, Brilliant. http://www.threechimneys.com/WarChant/a ... atings.php

"War Chant's leading earner so far is the aptly named Brilliant, a colt from his sire's second crop who has earned $726,797 with wins in a pair of G2 turf races as a 3-year-old and a second in the Woodford Reserve Turf Classic (G1) at 4. Brilliant's dam is by Known Fact (by In Reality) and his second dam is by Roberto, giving this colt a pattern of 4x3 inbreeding to Roberto, since War Chant's dam, Hollywood Wildcat, is a daughter of Kris S. (by Roberto). "

poor filly, she's already been run 10 times this year (1-1-1)
total 15 (3-1-1) $35,356. She needs some time off, and what a perfect time of year.. hmm..

Ten races in 8 1/2 months isn't excessive at all IMO.

What a nice page she has for the money. Might be a real bargain for someone.

she's a lovely cross with Red Giant and I wonder if the Three Chimney folks would do any deals as she is one of their other stallions' foal.
