GINSENG

https://secure.keeneland.com/sales/sep10/pdfs/750.pdf

2009 c. by Tiznow
2010 f. by Repent
2011 f. by Suave (4-24)
2012 barren to Colonel John (one cover)

Big, strong, healthy mare and a very good mother. Located in Lexington.

Her 2011 filly is big and gorgeous; she will be weaned this week.

$1500. Buyer MUST not only assure me that she will receive a good home but also provide me with photos of farm and other horses.

Thank you.

Any particular reason why the yearling and baby have no stallion certificates issued?

Apparently the stud farms havent sent in their electronic certs. Thanks for pointing this out.

I'd point out that the 3rd dam was the Californian broodmare of the year... http://www.barretts.com/catalog/catoc105/pdf/279.pdf

It's a good catalog page, but it's always so hard for me when I see the California pages - they just aren't as familiar and typical for what I usually see here in the midwest!

Very nice mare though... seems like a great deal.

Seems like a very nice mare for the price! With all of those young horses one could expect a page improvement.. hopefully their registration issues will be resolved and they will go on to race.

Ajo, you might want to establish your own thread for the above mares. Your post could easily get buried in here.

For what it's worth, I own two half-sisters to this mare, Francie and Justine, and both produce big, grand looking babies. It's a top page and there's always improvements every few months.

She's still available, folks!

http://www.pedigreequery.com/ginseng

This mare has no health or reproductive issues. She has great looking foals, is a terrific mother and has no vices. I am limiting my band to 15 mares no older than eight years old so Ginseng didn't make the cut. But she has some good producing years left in her and I want a good home for her.

And to sweeten the pot I will lower her price to just $1,000.

What if her 2009 colt by TIZNOW fires??????

The pedigree of the mare in the last post is not the same as of the mare in the first post. I guess you picked the wrong one in the last post.

The yearling and baby still have no stallion certs? It only takes the stud farms 2 minutes to release them...unless they arent paid.

all are paid so I cant explain it. But the fillies are alive and well. The weanling is the biggest filly I have even though she was a late April foal.
